Posture Is The Foundation!

Posture Is The Foundation!

Chiropractic Kirkland WA Back Pain Relief

Something increasingly disturbing is becoming very clear, our spines are changing at a faster rate than ever before. We are seeing teenagers in the office with degeneration that takes on average 10 years to show on xrays. This means that as toddlers, they began the process of degeneration rather than the process of developing the proper curves our spinal cords need to clearly send the signals necessary for proper function of our body.

We all remember hearing our parents and grandparents tell us to sit up straight, don’t slouch, walk with your head up, etc…. This advice remains important as adults but even more so for the kids in our lives. With online learning, the workloads for schools, and the use of technology at early ages, these reversals in postural curves are leading to more issues at younger ages. This is dangerous because children before puberty don’t feel pain the same way in their spine as we do as adults so they can’t always tell us something is wrong until they are teens. At that point, they’ve already began having severe pain or organ issues that could have been avoided.

For that reason, we wanted to dive into the importance of posture at all ages. You can find more details and helpful information by tuning into our workshop dedicated to helping you find out what your ideal posture is!

Chiropractic care focuses on healing the body naturally, holistically, and without the use of medication from the inside out. If you need help getting out of pain, schedule an appointment today!
